What would happen if one day you discovered that, in reality, you are the son of a Greek god who must fulfill a secret mission? Well, that's what happens to Percy Jackson, who from that moment on sets out to experience the most exciting events of his life. Expelled from six schools, Percy suffers from dyslexia and difficulties concentrating, or at least that is the official version. Object of ridicule for inventing fantastic stories, not even he himself quite believes them until the day the gods of Olympus reveal the truth to him: Percy is nothing less than a demigod, that is, the son of a god and a mortal. And as such he must discover who has stolen Zeus's lightning bolt and thus prevent a war from breaking out between the gods. To accomplish the mission he will have the help of his friends Grover, a young satyr, and Annabeth, daughter of Athena.
