El libro de las sombras
Ribolleda, Jordi
Edgar Strauss's life is not as he imagined before moving to Edinburgh. Escaping from a past that torments him, he finds himself trapped between a job he is not passionate about and a master's degree in Creative Writing that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. Until the handsome and painfully rich Alec Druiss enters the scene, with his pale skin, his enigmatic eyes and that voice that could make even the walls crumble. For a moment, everything seems too good to be true. And maybe it is. Because when Alec disappears without a trace, Edgar finds himself immersed in a world that should not exist. A universe of witches, vampires and monsters; a world of shadows that, beneath our own, has been kept separated by a thin veil that for centuries has remained motionless, but that houses forces beyond all comprehension. Forces that threaten to break an order that many have fought to preserve.
