The Jewish son is a moving book due to the honesty of its narrator, who starts from rage to write and ends up suffering a transfiguration. It tells of the radical turn in the life of a character, the author himself, who goes from remembering a painful childhood due to the physical punishments that his father inflicted on him to take care of him when he is dying. In this self-fiction or autobiographical text, Daniel Guebel faces the ambivalence of memory and ends up thinking that it is a construction perhaps to save the most worthy of the past.
