Betsy Baxter is the vivacious star of the 1920s adventure series "The Flapper Detective." While filming a daredevil scene in which she walks on the wings of an airplane, she meets the fearless Winifred Habbamock and discovers that they share a past filled with unsettling encounters and supernatural phenomena. When a friend of Betsy's goes missing from Arkham City, her situation seems all too familiar. It's not the first time she's lost someone there, and that includes the man she thought would be the love of her life. Together, Betsy and Winifred set off to investigate. But mysteries and dangers abound as they pass through New England. Betsy will need all of her abilities and new allies of hers to prevent an otherworldly cataclysm from consuming her...and all of Arkham.
