El drama de Varsovia (1939-1944)

Granzow de la Cerda, Casimiro

Casimiro Granzow de la Cerda, Cassio, lived in Warsaw during World War II and was a direct witness to the important events that took place: from the Nazi invasion in September 1939 to the creation of the ghetto, the deportations and the insurrection of the city in 1944 before the proximity of the Soviet troops, in the vain hope that they would have their support, until the Nazis completely devastated the city. A unique testimony, well written and with great narrative force. The only one written by a Spaniard who was a direct witness of what he narrates.
