There are many books and stories of all kinds that deal with death, but what is special about The Panther's Speech is its treatment of life. Death and life go hand in hand, there is no one without the other, and both are part of a succession of changes. Movement, search and gaze are central themes. In each of the stories, the characters begin a journey seeking a purpose, themselves, a place. Doing so, however, is not easy; it often implies separations and there are no guarantees when leaving. They are unpredictable courses and many difficulties await.
