The dawn of the 20th century in Europe brings with it airs of hope and innovation. In the midst of this vibrant and encouraging atmosphere, bohemian Paris and traditional Madrid see two beautiful love stories born. Wandering around the Montmartre neighborhood, Gerhard, a young German who dreams of painting like the French masters, falls head over heels in love with Lucie, the determined daughter of his landlady. On the other hand, in the stately streets of the capital of Spain, the aristocratic José Cervera falls at the feet of the exotic Nachita, the daughter of an Indian who is passing through the city.
