The borders of the Spanish empire teeter in the face of increasingly stronger and more organized enemies. In order to alleviate the pressure of the French army on Catalonia, the Flanders thirds, with Francisco de Melo at the head, invaded the north of France and besieged the city of Rocroi. In a battle that seems won beforehand, the Spanish are surrounded by the troops of a young Luis de Borbón. For the first time, the thirds face possible defeat, but that will not be enough to stop any soldier from fighting with the bravery and heroism for which they became legend.
