What really happened to Charlie? This is the question that John is unable to understand, in addition to the constant nightmares he has in which Charlie appears dead, but in which also, miraculously, Charlie reappears. All John wants to do is forget the horror saga he lived through at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but the past is not so easy to bury. Meanwhile, the opening of a new pizzeria in Hurricane brings with it a new wave of kidnappings that sound all too familiar. United by the loss of his childhood and reluctantly, John will join Jessica, Marla and Carlton to solve the case and find the missing children. Along the way, they will unravel the mystery of what happened to Charlie and the haunting legacy of his father's creations.
