El conflicto de las Facultades

Published in 1798, "The Conflict of the Faculties" is the last book released by Immanuel Kant (1724-1804). Divided into three parts, the work deals with the role that philosophers should play in an university, claiming a critical spirit that makes philosophy occupy the left wing of the university parliament, in order to preserve the interests of reason and truth against the dogmatic dictates of political power, always according to the programmatic objectives of the Enlightenment. In this new revised edition, Roberto R. Aramayo presents the work according to the scheme proposed by the author for it and includes two additional related Kantian texts: the "Reflection 8077" and some "Drafts of the Second Section" of the work.
