Barcelona, ??1945. Nil Roig is a boy who spends the day on a bicycle transporting old reels of films from one cinema to another. On the day of his thirteenth birthday, he witnesses a crime committed in the doorway of his house. While the murderer flees after having threatened him with death if he does not keep his mouth shut, the dying man gives him the mysterious sticker of a film actor of the time; an object hunted and longed for by a former Gestapo commander and an unscrupulous policeman. The fact that the dying man gives the card to Nil by pronouncing the name of David, the boy's missing father, will drag him to solve a secret from the past for which he will pay a high price.
