When in the dilapidated and uninhabited castle of Baron Rodolfo de Gortz, near the village of Werst in the Carpathian mountains which dominate the Transylvanian region, unexpected signs of some presence but also strange and inexplicable phenomena begin to be noticed, the locals, steeped in old and disturbing legends, are seized with terror. The appearance on the scene of young Franz de Telek, whose fiancée was also desired and harassed by the Baron before his unexpected death, will set in motion a thrilling and scary exploration in order to face the mysteries of the enchanted castle.
