In 1925, Miss Nan O'Dea infiltrated the affluent and exclusive world of author Agatha Christie and her husband, Archie. In every way, she became a part of her lives; first, of both; then only Archie's. Soon Nan became her mistress and lured him away from his devoted wife, desperate to marry him. Nan's ploy didn't begin the day she met Archie and Agatha, but goes back decades to Ireland when she was just a child. She and the man she loved were a loving couple destined to be together, until the Great War, a pandemic, and embarrassing secrets drove them apart. Later, a series of acts of unspeakable cruelty kept them at a distance.
