Matilde Losal is a normal girl; or practically normal. She lives in the neighborhood of Torrero, in Zaragoza, she goes to high school, she lives with her grandmother Matilda and her father, who is a cannonball. Her mother was a trapeze artist and her grandfather, Paco Losal, was the founder of the Colosal Circo Losal. Years ago, Paco, the first cannonball of the family, disappeared after being shot by the cannon. The normal life -or practically normal- of Matilde changes when she suspects that the disappearance of her grandfather may not have been a mere accident. As she pulls the strings to understand what happened that day, Matilde will discover unprecedented secrets about her family's past; and she will embark on a long and amazing journey thanks to the impulse... of a cannon shot!
