El Caire Formentera

The tension between what is particular and what is universal, between what is intimate or private and what is collective and public, crosses from one end to the other El Caire Formentera, a book of full personal maturity and lyrical, of those who know how to convey emotion and, at the same time, control its expression thanks to the mastery of the art of verse. The interest of each of the poems, the mastery with which they are written and the way they are intertwined in a complex whole are three of the reasons that led to the unanimous verdict of the jury of the twentieth Sant Cugat Poetry Prize in memory of Gabriel Ferrater.
