Daniel Escrig, a commercial representative, returns to the family village to fulfill his mother's last wish: to claim the paternal family's inheritance. Based on this premise, the play enters a world where tradition coexists with incipient modernity and the secret is revealed beyond prejudice. With Rieres, the name of the imaginary town in the novel, and the young Escrig, Mira established the foundations of her narrative: charismatic characters, coherent literary universes and a careful look at the cultural reality that surrounds us.
