XIII century. The young Roy Arias is sent by King Alfonso X to the East with the mission of taking a famous Muslim astronomer to Castile. He then embarks on a long journey plagued by betrayals, conflicts and murders in which he will lose some of the most important people in his life. When he returns to Castile, Roy does not take the wise astronomer with him, but he himself has become one and will serve as an adviser and astrologer to the king and the nobility, a dangerous position in one of the moments of greatest confrontation between Muslims and Christians.
