El ángel de Múnich
Massimi, Fabiano
Munich, 1931. It is a few weeks before historic elections give power to the Nazis. Commissioner Siegfried Sauer and his deputy Mutti Forster face the boring shift on Saturday when the police director alerts them that there is a murder case at number 16 on Prinzregentenplatz. Geli Raubal, favorite niece of Adolf Hitler, secretary of the National Socialist party, has been found dead. Everything points to suicide, but Sauer is convinced otherwise. Witnesses begin to contradict each other and an object that Geli always carried with him disappears: a small pendant with a gold swastika. His suspicions are confirmed when Hitler himself asks him to find the culprit and an old bond of trust between Sauer and the future Führer claims to be charged. Why do notes still appear with a mysterious H? What is behind the paintings that Hitler himself painted and with which he decorated his house? The young Geli will only be the tip of the iceberg in this novel that will uncover one by one the historical personalities of the regime and their plots.
