El amor no lo es todo
Millay, Edna St. Vincent
Edna St. Vincent Millay is one of the most fascinating and least-known American poets of the 20th century. She belonging to the generation of T.S. Eliot and Wallace Stevens, her feminist activism and her radical independence meant that her work was slow to spread, despite having won the Pulitzer Prize (1923). Her overwhelming personality brought together crowds at her readings and controversial public appearances, which made her a precursor of a new way of being a woman, liberated and bohemian, without fear of proclaiming her political ideas and proposing innovative ways of expressing the female experience.
