This book is the result of the juxtaposition of nine texts that deal with as many episodes of North American architecture. In some of these writings the excuse is their relationship with European or Spanish architecture. But in the background, this collection of texts shows the author's interest in North American architectural culture, understood as a great engine of ideas and trends in this field during the 20th century.
