El amante silencioso
Sánchez, Clara
Isabel, a woman who works in the Association of Dependent Victims, receives a peculiar proposal that goes beyond her competences: she must go to a region of Kenya, Mombasa, to locate and rescue a young man named Ezequiel who has been abducted by the Humanitarian Order, a sect that hides something murky. Isabel accepts the mission to redeem the guilt that has plagued her since her brother, a victim of another sect, committed suicide without her being able to help him. Once in Mombasa, despite feeling overwhelmed by the exoticism that surrounds her, Isabel manages to infiltrate the order as one more member, but the leader of the sect, a man named Maína, with an apparently affable and cordial character, suspects her . He seems to be able to read his thoughts and Isabel is increasingly distressed. The day Ezekiel disappears, Isabel decides to ask for desperate help. He manages to find the mobile that Maína had requisitioned and contact Said, a mysterious man who always appears at the most appropriate moment, with his ramshackle motorcycle and a flip-flop of each color. Said had made the promise to take care of her and ends up becoming a great ally for Isabel, since together they manage to discover what is behind the intentions of Maína and the sect she leads.
