El alfabeto de los dioses
Torrego, Almudena
Cantabria, 17th century. When he was just a young scribe, Alonso de Guevara finds the drawing of a spiral in several of the most mysterious manuscripts and plans of the monastery. While researching this symbol, he meets don Juan de Espina y Velasco, a book collector and musicologist, popular for his extravagant tastes. Together they will discover that what they are looking for is a legendary work called The Impossible Book, which many have tried to decipher. In it, they say that the secret of life is hidden and that only the chosen one will be able to read it. While Alonso and don Juan decipher the mysterious messages that will take them to the work, they will find out that they are not the only ones who know of its existence. Others are also willing to give their lives or sell their souls to get it.
