Dones a les ones

The history of radio in Catalonia runs parallel to the social and political history of the country, which, in the last hundred years, has gone through two dictatorships, a republic, a transition and democracy. In this frieze, sometimes bright and more often confused and motley, the lives of the women who contributed to making radio the medium we know are drawn. Telling the individual stories of the speakers, journalists, technicians, producers, screenwriters, etc., intertwining them with the history of Catalonia and radio, inspires this historical report. The purpose is none other than to float the voices of radio broadcasters, their expectations, their struggles and their achievements, without forgetting the frustrations and disillusionment that as women causes to practice a profession under the rules imposed by male society.
