DOM

DOM

Desiderato, Adrián

The Soviet DOM station loses communication with Earth and is adrift somewhere in the Milky Way. Of the crew members who started the journey from Baikonur, only the astrophysicist Viacheslav survives. Time passes inexorably (it is the only thing the lost astronaut has) and the hope of returning home fades. Viacheslav clings to the idea of ??returning to his beloved Soviet Union and embracing his family again, waiting for him in Moscow. But as he gazes at that blank, useless universe through DOM's hatches and ponders an entire age of culture, science and technology, his homeland disintegrates. Viacheslav unknowingly becomes the last Soviet. Now DOM is his home and the last stronghold of the USSR. In turn, the news of the spatial misfortune reaches Buenos Aires, where the meeting of two former schoolmates occurs: Domato and Delazarre. It all started at the Baikonur space base, perhaps the legend of Viacheslav Serguieievich Iarinenko will do it in the Argentine capital.
