As a continuation of the first installment of the Gredos Classical Library dedicated to Cicero's speeches, this volume completes his famous "Verrinas", the allegations that in 70 BC. They condemned a prominent member of the "nobilitas" for his shameful management in the government of Sicily. For the great orator, this trial was a great leap forward in his public and political life. For literature, these texts are a landmark of Latin prose, not only for their rhetorical display, but also for their literary delicacy.
