The day Víctor and Ur break up their relationship, he buys the Internet domain Monstruopedia.com and creates a tool that allows you to identify your ex with a type of monster based on the answers to a test. As the breakup has left him touched and depressed, he decides to move in with his friend Ju, who, like him, is a web page positioner, in her case related to maternity issues, and his two roommates, who do the same, but for porn websites. A few days after being installed with them, a cyberattack of an anomaly known as The Halo occurs, which seems to affect people, altering their behavior in a very particular way. Among the possible victims is Ur, Víctor's ex, with whom he meets again after a while. And to the possible symptoms and modes of propagation of the mysterious anomaly, the effects of drugs and alienating virtuality are added, sometimes indistinguishable. Víctor, the narrator of this story, then faces the collapse of any inhabitable network, be it affective or virtual, and the need to recover a certain sense of reality. And together with his friends, he undertakes an underground fight against the Halo through ranking in search engines and video games.
