Leyes (Libros I-VI)

Platón

The Laws is by far the longest Platonic dialogue we know of. And not only that, but it is also the one that involves the most exhaustive studies: history, political theory, education, penal codes, constitutional systems, theology, physics, medicine, etc. It is the oldest attempt that has come down to us to organize the legal system according to rational principles. In the first volume of the two that bring together the Laws, books I-VI are collected, in which the fundamental principles that should govern society are established and then create legislation in accordance with them.
