Después de la utopía
el declive de la fe política
Shklar, Judith
After utopia, he studies the development of political philosophy from the Enlightenment and even the most relevant manifestations of conservative liberalism and social democracy. Shklar believes that the distance between reality and theories, totalitarianism and fatalism have ended radicalism and utopia, without which it seems impossible to achieve profound political change. His study is based on the analysis of the classical authors and his conclusion leads him to project the profile of a liberalism that has little to do with the traditional one, a political philosophy that, from the point of view of citizens, attends to power and justice.
