De la micro a la nanoelectrónica
impulsando la transformación digital
Rosa, José M. de la
Today you can build chips that contain billions of components close to the nanometer in size. This makes possible applications that would have been considered science fiction just a decade ago. Neural computing, quantum computers, cognitive radio or integrated circuits on flexible substrates are some examples that are obtained from the manipulation of matter on an atomic scale within this micro / nanoworld that are chips. Despite these advantages, the design of these micro / nanoengineers involves facing a large number of scientific challenges to continue to benefit from technological scaling beyond Moore's law. This book presents a panoramic tour from micro to nanoelectronics, in order to offer a global and didactic vision, which covers the present-future of this technology, driving the transformation towards the digital society in which we have immersed ourselves.
