Carlos Saura, a key name in the history of Spanish cinema, died on February 10, 2023, days before receiving the Goya of Honor for his entire career. He was ninety-one years old and left behind seven decades full of films, awards, recognitions and aesthetic experiments of a very diverse nature, of course in cinematography, but also in theater, photography, opera and literature. He also left behind the nearly finished manuscript of a memoir he once said he would never write. Images also live is the testimony of an extraordinary life and work through which many of the greatest names in cinema and culture of the last century parade.
