De entre el humo

After a shooting that almost ended his life, the deputy commissioner of the Ertzaintza Vicente Parra rejoins his post. On his first day, he runs into a hard case of gnawing: they have just found an unidentified corpse inside a burning container on the outskirts of San Sebastián. When they find out that the victim worked for two rival catering companies, one of these companies receives a succulent commission to prepare a luxurious wedding inspired by the classic film Vertigo (From the Dead). Everything begins to get complicated when Vicente's team discovers precisely that the victim believed in communication with the afterlife. Cinema, cuisine, magical rituals and one of the most exceptional enclaves in the Basque Country, the abandoned Lemóniz nuclear power plant, will be the main ingredients to unravel the keys to a crime in which everyone is suspected.
