guía para realizar una tesis doctoral en Derecho o un trabajo de fin de grado o máster en Derecho

Cuerda Riezu, Antonio

This Guide tries to answer the questions that any doctoral student in Law asks himself: will I be able, despite my inexperience, to write a doctoral thesis ?; Will I need a thesis supervisor only at the last moment, at the time of the presentation of the thesis, or from the beginning, to help me throughout its writing ?; And as a thesis supervisor, is anyone worth it or does it have to be scientifically good ?; What does it actually mean to write a doctoral thesis on a legal topic ?; Can I abandon the investigation and resume it months later ?; How long is the right time to write my thesis? Those who intend to obtain a doctorate in Law will not find here complex questions of legal methodology, but rather very specific and simple guidelines to undertake their research. It is not a question of philosophy but of the working method or, if you prefer, the internal "scaffolding" of a scientific work. The aim is for the reader to obtain something similar to what the "writing workshops" facilitate: if these teach students to write literature, this book aims to explain how to prepare a scientific work on a legal topic, be it a doctoral thesis, be it an essay, be it even a modest research project.
