A selection of stories that reproduces Antonio Pereira's way of understanding the world. Almost always adapting to the Bierzo region, he manages to investigate the lives of characters with whom he builds a plural universe. Gelín, Beltrán, the bishop, the climber, Lêdo Ivo or Juan Carlos Mestre are some of the characters that have accompanied the author, Antonio Pereira, throughout these stories. Some real and others invented, have contributed to the creation of an ideology and a way of understanding the world, based on respect for others and pointing out as valid human values ??such as humility, commitment, creativity or freedom. With enormous skill, the author constructs a plural and egalitarian universe, using in many of them the environment closest to him, the Bierzo region, where he spent most of his life. The most outstanding characteristic of the stories is the fine irony with which the author weaves each episode; with it the reader will be able to acquire a teaching that will bring him closer to the knowledge of the society of various times.
