The reporter Mònica Bernabé lived for eight years in a country at war. With the rigor and honesty that characterize his journalism, he presents a chronicle of the years after a conflict that he knows very well, and gives his voice to those who were silenced: refugees fleeing from the hell of the Middle East to Europe; abused women who are denied the right to education, to decide about their lives and their own bodies, and a population mistreated with impunity by a fundamentalist system that the geopolitical interests of the West have helped elevate.
