Crisanta

Seville, October 1936. Crisanta receives a dangerous assignment. A 16th century triptych by Jan Van Eyck has disappeared amid the looting. If she tracks him down and turns him in, they'll help her get out of the country. He knows that there is no place for her in Spain buried by obscurantism, and he accepts from her, despite the fact that her divination instruments have advised him against participating in that company. They say that the triptych brought disaster upon its desecrators, but she is not intimidated by the curses.
