Crema Paraíso

Crema Paraíso

Pino, Camilo

Emiliano receives a juicy financial proposal from a German production company to participate in a television program. The only requirement is that his father must accompany him, which is not an easy project since he has an indication of insanity, with delusions of grandeur. He is convinced that he is the best poet in Latin America, that he possesses supernatural powers of seduction, and hopes that he will receive the Nobel Prize imminently. According to his stepmother's instructions, he gives him three orange pills a day to keep him under control, but the old man soon reveals himself unmanageable. "Crema Paraíso" is a work that touches intimate fibers with a subtle humor, forcing us to question the world, and which can be read in many keys: novel by father and son, essay on success and failure, chronicle of revolutionary disappointment, meditation on art, praise of madness, or comedy of misunderstandings.
