Confesiones de un artista de mierda

Dick, Philip K.

Jack Isidore doesn't see the world like most people. According to his brother-in-law Charley of his, he is a shitty artist, who is obsessed with his own outlandish theories and ideas, which he jealously records in his many notebooks. He's so ill-prepared for real life that his sister and his brother-in-law feel compelled to rescue him. But although Fay and Charley Hume present a happy face to the world, they show that they are as isolated from reality as he is, subject to obsessions that are only slightly more acceptable than Jack's, but much more unpleasant. Their constant struggles and betrayals prove to be a threat to their own marriage and the relationships of everyone around them. When Jack is taken to his house, he finds himself in the midst of a maelstrom of bourgeois anguish from which he may not be able to escape.
