Maddy knew she wanted to be a doctor when she met Meredith, her sister-in-law. Since then, she has worked hard to do so and is now in her second year of residency at the Minnesota hospital. Travis has moved to the city for work and is immersed in the new video game that he is programming with his best friend. One night, in a bar, both will cross paths without particularly attracting attention. Later, after Maddy receives a call that puts her in a bad mood, she decides that the best way to deal with heartbreak is to drink, and Travis takes advantage of her moment to get closer to her. They will never see each other again because of a wrong name and number. In the meantime, the world will decide what to do about it and bring them back together thanks to mutual friends.
