Abril does not want to become one of those novel characters who, after a disaster, flee to another place. But the reality is that he has been without a job for weeks, without a flat and out of breath, so when his grandmother offers him to hide in the town of his childhood, he does not hesitate to accept despite the unique conditions: he must find some pots lost in the garden and reopen the reading club for the curious inhabitants of Trevillés. Once there, April tries to escape from her with the help of the books, but her fate has other plans for her.
