Cien años de la Legión española
las fotografías de su historia

The Spanish Legion is one hundred years old. His legionaries are sons of the thirds and of the conquerors. Many were not Spanish because of the blood they received but because of the blood shed in Morocco, Spain, Russia, Bosnia, Mali, Congo, Afghanistan or Iraq... without asking for explanations, as permanent volunteers. Millán Astray, the founder, inspired them with the Bushido of the samurai. Relentless in combat, generous in peace. They are soldiers and their peculiarity has been earned by their spirits, those who forged the most famous body of the Spanish Army. They are legionnaires under the pike, the arquebus and the crossbow. This is the photographic testimony, with more than 500 images of its entire history, of a century of service to Spain.
