Chica = Tonta, Chica = Mala, Chica = Débil
políticas identitarias del movimiento Riot Grrrl
Sagaz, Laura
The Riot Grrrl movement was made up of feminist punk music groups that emerged in the United States in the early 1990s. These groups, made up mainly of women, were a reaction to the masculinized alternative music scene centered on punk, hardcore and grunge sounds. . In a few years they became something more than a musical expression, since they represented a political and social disruption that combined punk, activism and social organization. In Girl = Silly, Girl = Bad, Girl = Weak, Laura Sagaz analyzes the identity politics of this movement, its philosophy, the importance fanzines and "do it yourself" had for them, placing it in its context and tracing its legacy in the Spanish music scene of the present decade.
