Celestia
Fior, Manuele
Manuele Fior offers the reader a fable about the ability of the youngest to solve the problems of the old world in this work that is situated in an alternative present, different and at the same time similar to ours. A great invasion, coming from the sea, has decimated humanity, from which some have escaped finding refuge on a small stone island built more than a thousand years ago and known as Celestia, a twin sister of Venice who drinks from the creations of Miyazaki. Dora and Pierrot, the protagonists of this story, will enter the limits of the lagoon to discover the world that surrounds them: an area in full metamorphosis inhabited by a society in which children take care of the few surviving adults.
