Castigar a los rojos
Acedo Colunga, el gran arquitecto de la represión franquista

Prosecutor Felipe Acedo Colunga played a leading role in the purge of all groups loyal to the Republic during the civil war and the Franco regime: he devised post-war propaganda and criminal measures, and drew up a plan on how the purge should be carried out of all the red collectives without forgetting any. And, from the classic traditionalist, ultra-Catholic and totalitarian postulates, he was inflexible with the defenders of the republican Constitution. Through the study of this figure and his own memoirs, other topics are also dusted off: the prevailing idea during the Franco regime, among the victors, that the battle against "the enemy" was still necessary; the need to continue defending historical memory; the remanence in Spanish legislation of cruel and fascist foundations; traces of hate; and the propaganda carried out by the Franco regime.
