Cartas a Nensi
45º premios literarios Kuixa Ciudad de Irun
Alonso, Martha Asunción
Letters to Nensi narrates the definitive growth spurt of a little green creature who outgrows all her lycra tights in the outskirts of Madrid in the 90s. Orphaned by her mother and with a father who is always absent, the protagonist of this story tries to shake off the fear, to be seen and to achieve oneself in a universe of graffiti like unanswered questions, aluminum horizons that promise diamonds at sunset, porridge of pea flour, La Mancha grandmothers who plant folkloric plants in pots, friendships of hydrogen peroxide -they heal as much as they sting- and choruses by Rosendo.
