Anna is a gamer who has just moved with her family to another city and is grounded without playing. Ricardo is an apprentice blacksmith who feels lucky because he helps keep the ultimate sword, the one that will kill the dragon that is besieging his village, to be in good condition. They both join the Pen Friends program and begin to correspond. Anna soon discovers that Ricardo's universe is familiar to her. He just has to look at his computer screen.
