Carne de sirena
Montero Glez
Andrés Bouza launches his boat into the sea with the aim of taking an order to Lisbon. It seems simple: leave the load, collect what was agreed and return home, but then this would not be a novel by Montero Glez. It happens that the sky announces storms, Andrés Bouza runs aground and must shelter from the storm in a sinister inn that looks like a purgatory towards hell. There he will listen to the stories of a blind priest who listens to the enigmas of the world, in God and the devil, until the time comes to leave again, and he will learn about the fateful destiny of Chiruca, Zopo, and other criminals who only have in common the sea as condemnation. And there will be persecutions, threats, betrayals, sex, violence, drug caches, denunciations, revenge, greed, intrigues, crimes, mysteries and also loves, heartbreaks and nostalgia, because Andrés Bouza is an Odysseus in a world that has become ugly but it resists total annihilation.
