Breve historia de Esquerra

Surely, the main question that must be answered when we talk about ERC is how an almost centennial party - but a minority only a decade ago - is today in a position, according to polls, to reach the Presidency of the Generalitat. But there are other questions. What are the souls, traditions of ERC and how have they lived with internal debates and splits for so many decades? What do historical figures of the formation like Lluís Companys or Heribert Barrera have in common with Gabriel Rufián or Pere Aragonés? How can ERC co-govern a country as complex as Catalonia with its main electoral rival? Further still, can left-wing policies be made governing with the main historical force of the Catalan right?
