Bohemios que hablaban alemán

Sosa Wagner, Francisco

At the beginning of the 20th century, the young Viennese Volker Schulze unexpectedly receives an inheritance. Doctor of Law, but passionate about literature and art, Volker decides to use the small fortune to go live in Munich, in the famous bohemian neighborhood of Schwabing. In the Bavarian city he will come into contact with his intellectual circles. Artists such as Stefan George, the family of Thomas Mann, the playwright Frank Wedekind, the "bohemian countess" Franziska zu Reventlow or the unique Kathi Kobus, in whose premises the most extravagant representatives of "German bohemia" met, stroll through this fresh from a society that contributed so much to European culture. When Volker returns to Vienna and to his popular cafés, he will also establish relationships with writers such as Altenberg, Karl Kraus, Schnitzler and the painters Klimt or Kokoschka.
