Becky Riot
Pardo, Mariano
Adolescence is hell. Becky knows it and suffers it daily in her own flesh: in class she does not approve of her and they bully her, at home her parents are separating and everything is shouting. She hates the system, the world, and just wants to disappear. Until she discovers a Pussy Riot video, she buys a balaclava and becomes Becky Riot. Masked, improvised graffiti artist's spray in hand, she seeks to hide anxiety, pimples, virginity and loneliness. "Homer Simpson is the father figure that our generation shares. I have learned more with him than with my own father", says a disbelieving and cynical Becky, who takes refuge in her only friend as misfit as she is, to try to overcome the difficult day a day.
