As a Knight of Cristalia, I, Bastille, have sworn to protect the Smedry clan from the Evil Librarians. (And believe me, even wimps like them need someone to protect them.) But when Alcatraz Smedry was tied to an altar of outdated encyclopedias to be offered as a sacrifice to the dark gods, I was too late. And his father gave her life for him. Now Alcatraz is a sea of ??tears, so it's up to me to lead the charge against his father's killer: Biblioden, founder of the Evil Librarians (I thought he'd been dead for centuries!). Biblioden has returned to carry out his plan and take over the world. He will use the dark powers that he has obtained through the sacrifice of Alcatraz's father to subdue anyone not under the control of the Evil Librarians. Burning to death is not in my plans, so I better come up with a plan to stop him. I know Alcatraz is wrong when he says he's not a hero, but when a hero falls short, it's time for the rest of us to step up and do whatever it takes.
